Unearthing Boxes

Over the weekend I unpacked three boxes from the basement.  Two of them were full of clothes.  Mostly my husband's.  Last night I unpacked two more boxes that were in the bedroom.  Mostly my dress clothes but I found some warm fleece pajamas and a flannel nightgown that would have been nice last winter.  :)  I was thinking about taking over the guest bedroom closet but maybe I'll buy one of those clothes storage things for the basement.  Some stuff is seasonal and could hang out there along with the dress clothes.  I've not been a fan of skirts since my present employment.  Moving boxes and stepping up and down a step stool at various times throughout the day does that, you know?

I believe it! When I was at Staples, I was almost never asked to move boxes, haul things from the back room, or climb ladders, even before I moved to Customer Service. Why? Because I discovered that when my boss told me about the dress code, he left out that we could wear "black or khaki pants or skirts." I wore one or another of my ankle-length black skirts (over black leggings in the winter) every day. I wore my Staples shirt with it, so I was in no way breaking dress code...it looked stupid, but I felt much happier in a skirt than I ever could have in pants!
