Graffiti Strikes Again!

In July the gas company moved our meter outside the house. It is between a window and the front door. In August someone (I assume a kid) put their initials on the meter in two places. The AXE body spray removed it.

This morning the initials were back. The AXE body spray took about 98% of it off.

So we're considering trying to camouflage it with a bush. Any recommendations?

Too bad you can't put anything prickly or poisonous there, but that wouldn't be very nice for the gas company.

I think I could get away with something prickly. They have a remote monitor to read it so don't even have to get out of their car to read it. They just point it at the house.

The only reason why the moved it out was because with it being an old house they wanted to be able to shut it off in case there was a leak.

Holly bush. Pretty year round and the leaves are pricklier than you'd expect. Probably make it too much trouble for the initialer and they'd move on.
