No Harry Potter Spoilers Here!

After my writing session I came home to do some dishes and decide what we were going to do tonight. I was torn between ordering a pizza and staying in (we have some good movies from Greencine and Nicheflix waiting to be watched) or going out to dinner and seeing Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The grilled chicken and bacon sandwich at Red Door Tavern was the final nail in the coffin. We went out to dinner and saw the movie. My husband was bored during most of it. He's not read any of the books and thought this was the worst movie yet. I find it somewhat annoying that I read the books years ago and don't reread them before the movies come out so I end up forgetting some things. With the movies things get moved around or left out and I wonder if I imagined something happened when it didn't. Or maybe it happened in the next book, if you know what I mean. What I did enjoy was that I read the Half Blood Prince over the summer which made me notice things in this movie I would not have known to pick up on while reading Goblet of Fire. If I had more than twenty-four hours in a day I'd probably use some of them to just reread all of the books from beginning to end to see how everything flows. But I don't. And I know I won't. At least not in the near future while I'm working on a novel and have a stack of over fifty books to read. I did enjoy the movie. I might even see it again when it's on tv.

Tomorrow we're gong to see a play, Doll House, and probably do some chores that we've been putting off for a bit. Yes, Christmas lists for our families are chores. I've nearly finished the one for my family but still need to do one for my in-laws and the extended family drawing.

The Corgi has been limping since his morning walk but is now doing fine. My husband said it started when he decided to run the dog for a little bit. I realized we've probably forgotten to give him the glucosamine "treat" he loves for a week. He's supposed to get it every other day. Where has my head been?
