This evening was good and bad. I got home at 7pm and took the dog for a walk. We walked nearly a mile in an hour. He was so tuckered out. Now that it's late, he's limping a little, but I don't think it's from the walk. We didn't do anything strenous yesterday yet he was limping before we went to bed. I think he was licking his paw while I wasn't looking.
During our walk we met a nice man who was gardening and has a Basset Hound at home. I think he wants a Corgi. The weather was just right for a walk. My side of the building at work has been without air conditioning for 2 weeks and it will be at least one more week before it is fixed. *pants and drools from the heat* It wasn't too cold and it wasn't too warm.
I ordered dinner from Cafe Courier and pigged out. Onion Loaf, Baked Potato, Salad, and Ribs and a Roll. I still have the salad, half of the ribs and 3/4s of the onion loaf. My belly feels so big!
About 10pm I logged into EQ. I was surprised to see 2 old MacLears there and a Siol Lear member. They are going to play EQ2. It seems they've tired of DAoC and wanted the chance to get caught up on EQ before making the switch to EQ2. I'm glad they're back. I helped them with blessings and showing them some things until about midnight or so.
Then I read my husband's blog which he only updates when he's at festivals. It's a good way to keep in communication with one another, when he can get to a PC. It was funny because he was a little drunk while writing it and he's just so sweet when he's drunk. I mean, he's always sweet, but when he's a little drunk he's little boy sweet where he's just having a good time and doesn't mean harm to anyone or wish them ill will. He'll probably be embarassed that I linked his blog, but it's only a short one and gets updated once or twice each year. At least I've not linked his web site. :)
I thought he was going to play another game of poker tonight so I'm glad to hear he went to the Johnny To party. If you ever get a chance to see The Mission I highly recommend it.
Edit: Removed the link to his blog for his privacy.
