Also on the agenda was A Song is Born with Danny Kaye. It's a remake of Ball of Fire which is essentially Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. The movie was a shot for shot remake with songs added in. It was just as good as the original.
I keep forgetting to mention I saw Monsieur Verdoux a month or so ago. I don't think I've ever seen any of Chaplin's talkies. He has a nice voice. I can see why so many women found him charming.
