Last night right before bed, my husband asked if I wanted him to clean the dishes because he forgot. I told him to take the night off. So tonight I made sure we had a clean sink before going to bed. I began cleaning our dining room today. I found Zilla's overnight bag (it's a tote bag with a Corgi on it) and emptied it of all the toys and bones in it. Before I emptied it he kept smelling it like he knew it was his. When his favorite bone appeared he took off with it.
At one point I set the vacuum brush on his hip and began brushing him with it. He gave me a look like I was crazy. Hey... some people get their dogs clean that way!
While cleaning I set the microwave timer for 15 minutes and my husband asked what it was for. I explained about FlyLady's timer and he understood that. He cleaned up our coffee table and when I told him about FlyLady's rule about not tackling more than what could be done in an hour he seemed skeptical. My husband is also the kind of person that is used to spending an entire day cleaning. I'd rather do it in little chunks, I guess. Entire days should be for the big things like cleaning all of the blinds, washing the floors, or cleaning windows on both sides in my opinion.
My husband showed me a BBC video on YouTube that's been out for a while. A gentleman named Guy Goma went to the BBC office to interview for a job and they got him mixed up with another Guy who owns a web site. They interviewed him on the air about digital music downloads. The look on his face was priceless when he realized he was on the air. I wonder if he got the Data Support Cleanser job he was supposed to interview for?
