Zilla and Hubby

This morning Zilla was more interested in licking the snow than in doing his morning walk. His lymph nodes on his neck feel smaller to me but I don't know what the future holds. I've found I'm much more tolerant of this behavior than I would have been last winter. It seems like it snowed every other day while my husband was gone. So every other day he's wandered around, licking random spots to taste the snow.

Zilla ate most of his breakfast but wanted nothing to do with dinner. Around 11pm we went out for a walk and he just sat down in the backyard. I looked at him wondering what it was all about. Then he stretched his neck and out came his breakfast. He walked about two yards away, sat down again, and repeated himself. The third time he sat down I waited and waited but nothing came. He just wanted to cool his behind in the snow, I guess. Tomorrow is Zilla's second chemo treatment. I meant to ask for the afternoon off but time got away from me. I wish I didn't have to get up early.

Hubby is back from Rotterdam. I was hoping he'd take lots of pictures but the battery on the camera was dead when he got there.
