Shame On Them!

Last summer and this summer my OB/GYN recommended a mammogram.  I didn't do it last year since we weren't sure insurance would pay for it and this year I put it off for 4 months because of all the horror stories.  Well, not so much the horror stories, as the wincing and complaints from the older women who have gone through it.  I can understand if the breast mass is small but all the wincing and complaints have been by women with the same or larger breast mass than I have.  Shame on them for scaring or making a younger generation reluctant to use the available tools!

NaNoWriMo Day #20

Didn't write as much as I would have liked.  Daily Word Count 1761.  Total Word Count is 29620.  After being awake since 6:15am I could not push myself to write the other 380 words to get to 30,000.  Sammy, the corgi in my novel, got into a fight with another dog that turned out to be... the boyfriend of the protagonist's sister that had been shot with the crossbow in Chapter One.  Dun... dun... dunnnnn!

But I will get them tomorrow!
