My husband has been intrigued by a gluten & sugar free lifestyle for a while. One of his friends does it and lost quite a bit of weight.
I've been trying to eat Paleo (no sugar, grains, dairy or legumes) as much as possible for the past two weeks to see how I feel on it.
I've had withdrawals - headaches, achy joints and so on. But after I get over those symptoms I feel pretty good. I don't feel bloated and I've gone down a pants size. I feel... Thin.
I'm not ready to make a permanent change but as long as I eat like this (mostly fruits and veggies, meats and nuts) most of the time, I should continue to feel good.
