Good Weekend

Earlier this week I commented to my husband how Gwen Stefani reminded me of Holly Madison (one of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends) in her American Idol interviews. Apparently one of the Television Without Pity forum members thought the same.

We've now watched the first four episodes of BSG Season One. It's still a winner in my book. Hubby isn't as interested in it as me but he's still watching it with me. We have 2531 items in our Greencine queue. Most of the top stuff is BSG related.

Since Zodiac's opening weekend we haven't seen a new movie in a theater so I used my pick yesterday on Blades of Glory. Some of the funniest stuff came from Will Ferrell's adlibbing. Will Arnett and Amy Poehler are really funny. Jon Heder has some good scenes but I think some steam was lost on his character. The similarities between him and a teenage girl just kind of fizzle out after a while.

Yesterday had some weird vet adventures but I'll save that for another post.

Tonight we're having dinner with friends at a hip place in the Short North. I'm sure on Sunday we won't be too old. hehe
