Last week we watched King of Kong. It's a documentary that made me laugh, feel a sense of injustice and see a glimmer of hope when someone did the "right" thing. It begins as a quest for the World Record High Score in Donkey Kong but behind every quest there is so much more. I think it would appear to non-gamers too.
Last night I saw Boarding Gate. I've had a crush on Asia Argento since I saw her introduce Scarlet Diva at the Toronto International Film Festival so take anything I say with a grain of salt. In this movie... she rawks! She does subtle things with her face that shows her vulnerability, toughness and disbelief. It isn't until the Michael Madsen character is no longer on screen that things get interesting so if you see it then know it does get better.
