Yet another Sunday Update

Last week was Banned Books Week. To see a list of the top 100 most challenged books from 1900 to 2000 visit the American Library Association web site to see the list. Or click here. I thought I had read more of the books on the list. I've only read about 30 of them.

You scored as Simon Tam. The Doctor. You have a gift for healing that goes beyond education. You took an oath to do no harm, even when your patients have tried to kill you. You are out of place where you are, being used to refined society. However, if you take that stick out of your arse you should be fine.

I found a word meter that can be used to show your progress towards a writing goal. Lots of people use it for NaNoWriMo but it can also be used if you're working on a short story too. Visit Zokotou for the meter if you want to use it.

Today I watched The Wrong Guy which broke my streak of San Francisco movies. It started in Cleveland, Ohio. It wasn't the funniest thing I've watched but there were quite a few comics in it and people like David Anthony Higgins and Joe Flaherty that I wouldn't have known without watching tv for so many years.

I also got around to finding the checks from our bank. I had to find one from February that someone had cashed without giving me the Homes and Garden Party item I ordered. I'll make a copy of the check and send it with a letter asking for my money back. Tomorrow I'm going to write more letters. I owe one to my bank for frustrating me two weeks ago when I tried to make a deposit (I ended up going to three ATMs trying to give them my money) and to Penn Station for overcharging me on Saturday.
