I had a chance to go through the Sally Mann book, Deep South. The mood is that of one in a dream looking out at landscapes and not entirely sure of what one sees. Very captivating. Perfect mood pieces for scary stories or to hold onto a bit of the past.
I found airline ticket prices to Maryland for $198 but they were for the wrong airport. I started frantically looking at prices last night and either they're too expensive or the airport is not the one I want to go to. My tickets last year were $161 and bought in September. I wish I had started looking at prices then instead of waiting until the last minute.
For dinner I made a "hearty sausage bake" which wasn't bad but was just too cheesy for me. I ended up with a plate full of french fries and BW3 sauce. The rest went into the refrigerator for leftovers.
Today at work will be prepping for a customer visit in Akron tomorrow. We're going to make the trip there and drive right back without stopping for lunch. We're bringing one of the support specialists with us to introduce him to the customer. He's fasting for the Muslim holiday right now so it would be rude to stop for lunch. I'll have to bring crackers with me in case I get hungry. It should mean a short day even if my eating schedule is off.
