The evening will feature the Columbus premiere of Lonesome Jim, directed by Steve Buscemi and starring Liv Tyler and Casey Affleck, as well as an introduction to the film by Mr. Buscemi, a Q & A after the film, and a reception following the Q & A session in the bi-level bar and café of the Drexel Gateway Theater.
Tickets are $20 and all proceeds benefit ABATE of Ohio's Annual Toy Drive for Children. He's been asked to do the Q&A with Buscemi but may decline. Buscemi's wife is from Columbus and his sister-in-law and her husband are involved with the charity. Now, the radio station web site says tickets are $25, the movie starts at 7:30pm and the reception starts at 10pm. I want to go.
The NaNoWriMo kickoff party is the same night from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. I guess I could stay for a half hour.
