We went out and saw Domino. I wasn't expecting a masterpiece and I wasn't expecting total crap either. I got an okay movie that kept my attention. We were in the 44-person theater which I would love to have for a viewing room. But I am low. I'll be happy one day with a widescreen tv that shows true colors. hehe
We had lunch at Ted's Montana Grill beforehand. The food was really good. Our waitress was very efficient but a little jarring. She was kinda in our face. Nothing was wrong it was just something that I noticed.
We picked up some medicine for me and got my laptop from The Laptop Guy. It was about what I thought it would be in terms of price but the service just wasn't there. By service I mean personalized service. Everyone was always polite when I was in the store or when speaking with me on the phone.
We also saw Edvard Munch but I fell asleep for some of the beginning. I found that I was more interested in the movie when it talked about his paintings and the evolution of his style. My tummy was also trying to strike up a conversation with my husband.
I think that it started acting up because I had gone so long without any food. Our lunch was around 12:30pm and Edvard Munch didn't finish until 10pm. We grabbed something from Wendy's (again not knowing about the bank account balance) and my tummy was happy once more. We were invited to stop by the horror marathon but didn't. We watched World Poker Tour Ladies Night III instead.
I'd not seen Jennifer Tilly play before. She's got a good poker face. And she won! Marsha Waggoner is one class act! She played with style and grace. I don't see many all female tables so it was great to watch the dynamics. There was little trash talking; it was all about playing poker.
Sunday night we saw Suspiria as part of the Halloween Horror series at the bargain theater. It was funny and scary at the same time. My husband says that each time it gets shown at the annual horror marathon that the audience is divided between those who love it and those who hate it. The main actress is also in Shock Treatment, the sequel to the Rocky Horror Picture Show which will show soon. Udo Kier was such a handsome young man. I still think he's attractive looking as an older man.
Last night I couldn't get to sleep due to a cough so I took some Nyquil. It knocked me out and I didn't get up until 7:15am. I have to get up early on Mondays so I can take a weekly pill before I take my other medicine and eat. Breakfast this morning consisted of Special K and pizza rolls.
