Freewrite - street

Here is a 5-minute freewrite I did during lunch. 89 words.

The streets shone in the moonlight. The air was damp from the rain. I walked my dog down the sidewalk. He stopped and sniffed at interesting smells I had no knowledge of.

The leaves on the trees were still green. In just a matter of days or weeks they would turn colors and drape the ground. The doors to the other town homes were closed. Once in a while the warm glow of a lamp could be seen spilling out from under the window blinds. The neighborhood was still.
